Bransford Elementary Mission Statement
To create a positive learning environment for all students that integrates the Arts into Education.
Greetings from Ms. Gerdes
What a beautiful, extended weekend to wrap the month of March! I hope you and your family had a nice three-day weekend. We are excited to see our Texans back tomorrow morning.
Last week, our kindergarten and first grade students performed A Princess and Her Dragon for students and families. WOW! I am impressed with how our students memorized their lines, songs, motions, and expressions!! What a fun show that they created! An enormous shout-out to Mrs. Benson and Mrs. Culpepper for writing, arranging, and producing the show!
In addition, Reid S and Daniel J represented Bransford at the GCISD Special Olympics. Both our Texans competed and earn ribbons in their events. I am so proud of them both! Way to go, guys!
Congratulations to Jack E in third grade!! He WON the NTTA Driver Safety Awareness campaign contest. You can see his creation below. Way to go, Jack!!
Please remember school begins at 7:40 am. It is best to drop your child off by 7:37 so they can get inside and arrive to class before the bell rings which promotes a positive start to their day.
Wishing you all a wonderful week as we welcome April!

In Case You Missed It
Electronic Device Policy
Students with Phones and Watches
Some of our students now have watches that they can send and receive texts with. Most are for communication with parents, but that is not always the case. We wanted you to have the exact board policy (related to elementary schools) for personal use devices. If a student has a device like this or a phone, they are asked to keep it in their backpacks during the school day because they are not permitted without administrator permission during school hours.
Electronic Devices and Technology Resources
Possession and Use of Personal Telecommunications Devices, Including Cell Phones and Other Electronic Devices
"An elementary school student or a student at an alternative school may access and use a personal telecommunications device or other personal electronic devices only with administrative permission."
