We are hoping to complete all IAR make up tests this week for all students who missed a session in the past couple of weeks due to absence. We will do our best to make sure that students are not missing the same class multiple times if they have more than one session to complete.

We have a snack cart for staff that needs refilling but we also need some breakfast items to accompany the hot food being served on Thursday, May 5.

Contactless drop off for snack cart items: Please have all snack items dropped off at the RTMS office by 5/2. Office hours are 7 am-4 pm.

For breakfast items: Please bring to the school by 7 am on Thursday, 5/5. Please drop items off in the office or call/text (847) 894-0955 to make other arrangements.

Dear parents,

I am excited to announce that we will be holding a book fair in the LRC May 5-12! Please consider purchasing some books for your student. Brand-new graphic novels, middle grade fiction, summer reading titles, and YA books--Anderson's Bookfair Company has it all! And our school will receive 20% of all profits made! Let’s celebrate the end of the school year with some baseball! Sunday, May 15 is River Trails School District Day at Impact Field in Rosemont, home of the Chicago Dogs. Your whole family is invited to attend a 3:00 p.m. Dogs game against the Gary SouthShore Railcats!

2022-23 Registration for all students is open Friday, April 1. To register your child, please log in to your PowerSchool account and complete all of the forms. If you have multiple students in the district you will need to complete the forms for each student.

6th Grade Families

Dental exam forms are required for all children enrolled in 6th Grade. These are due in the health office by May 15, 2022. A current examination is one that was completed within 18 months of May 15th.

Parent Schoology Accounts: Parents/families of 4th-8th grade students were sent an access code for Schoology. They also were provided these instructions, which explain how to sign up and/or access their Parent Schoology account.

Remote Technology Support: Families can submit a Remote Technology Support Ticket through Incident IQ for their child. The link can be found on the district website under the Parents tab. They can also submit a ticket by logging into Incident IQ with their child’s login information.
