Volume 2, Week 22
It was SO wonderful to see so many parents attend our literacy day at Holmes. I am including the presentation that was shared with families today if you were unable to join us. Mark your calendar for April 8th, to join the Principal and your child's classroom for Math Day. Schedule to come.
We love having you in the building, but we also love having your feedback. We work hard to create the warmest, safest space for our families and students, and are always looking for ways to improve.
Please complete this survey.
Thank you,
Mary Kassir

Valentine's Day
Just a reminder that our parent-student handbook outlines our policy regarding celebrations. As Valentine's Day approaches, please consider a non-edible treat to share with friends. Any food items that have not been arranged in advance will be sent home. Thank you!
1.85 Treats, Snacks & Celebrations Due to health concerns and scheduling, treats and snacks for any occasion must be arranged in advance with the classroom teacher. All treats and snacks must be store bought and prepackaged in sealed individual servings. No homemade treats or snacks are allowed at school. Treats and snacks may not require refrigeration and must have a clearly printed list of ingredients on the packaging. Food must be peanut/tree-nut free and must be produced in a peanut/tree-nut free facility. We strongly encourage you to select a treat or snack with nutritional value. In conjunction with the Maercker PTA, schools will plan celebrations throughout the year to reinforce positive student behavior.
