What And How
- What- The first grand piano was invented by Bartolomeo Cristafori ( 1655-1732 ) In Florence, Italy.
- What- Piano means 'soft'. they called it this because it was one of the instruments that could play both loud and soft.
- How- When a key is pressed on a grand piano, it moves a felt covered hammer that strikes a steel string, making it vibrate and letting sound come out.
- How- the player of an electric piano can play softer or louder according to the amount of finger pressure used on the key that's pressed. Electric pianos may have several inbuilt effects, including control for verifying the pitch of a note that is already sounding.

Instruments like the piano include the Harpsichord and the organ.
A harpsichord is a musical instrument played by means of a keyboard. It produces sound by plucking a string when a key is pressed.
An Organ, is operated by the player’s hands and feet, in which pressurized air produces notes through a series of pipes organised in scalelike rows. The term organ encompasses reed organs and electronic organs but, unless otherwise specified, is usually understood to refer to pipe organs.
