School Tours

• We will conduct school tours every Wednesday from now until June, 2025.

Shadow Days

• Prospective students may shadow on Fridays from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

Testing Days

• Mondays & Fridays
• 9:00 AM - 9:50 AM
• 10:45 AM - 11:45 AM

Class Parties

• Only room parents will be allowed onto campus to set up for the Halloween Class Party
• Room Parents may set up for the class party from 12:10 - 12:40 PM
• The class party will take place after lunch from 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM

Parade

• Parents may watch the parade from the yard outside the fence.
• For a better view, pick a spot on Grand Avenue.
• We estimate the time for the parade to be approximately 1:50 - 2:50 PM.
• Kindergarten and 1st Grade students will walk with their 7th and 8th Grade buddies.
• We will exit the Preschool Gate and turn right and walk to Miller Avenue.

Costumes

• Costumes may be worn to school, but the costume cannot interfere with regular academics.
• No weapons (plastice or otherwise may be apart of the costume).
• No bloody or excessively scary costumes.
• Masks are only worn during the parade.
• Props are used only during the parade.

Christ Fisher, the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese of San Francisco will also be visiting All Souls Catholic School on this day.

Some parents have inquired about the drills that we have scheduled this year. In our efforts to make sure that we are always prepared for any possible emergencies. we will have the following drills throughout the school year.

Fire Drills

• Once every month

Earthquake Drills

• 2 are scheduled for this school year
• During the months of October & February

Intruder / Barricade Drills

• 2 are scheduled for this school year
• During the months of September and May

Dear Parents,

We moved the Lost and Found to the first floor of the school. As a result we locked the cabinets in the Lobby to the Cafeteria because items were always unfolded and strown about. So, in an effort to maintain a more orderly environment, the Lost & Found was moved. Any clothing not claimed within a week will be moved to the locked lockers in the Lobby to the Cafeteria.

Please, if you have not done so already, using a sharpy pen, write the grade and name of your child on the inside label of all school uniform items.

A request was made to allow students to intermingle and socialize between the grades. After meeting with the Teachers and the Teacher Aids the following guidelines for this privilege have been put into place.

• Students may socialize with students from other grades in the picnic table area and in front of the sheds.
• Only socializing is permitted, no playing of any kind.
• Students may eat lunch or their snacks together in this area, however food is never to be shared due to the possibility of food allergies.
• All students are responsible for throwing away their own trash.

This is a privilege, if the privilege is abused, it will be revoked.

Hello All Souls Catholic School Community,

Below is a School Fundraising Calendar that we are keeping for the 2024-2025 School Year. If you have an idea for a fundraiser please transmit your ideas to one of the following persons that have been designated contact persons with the office in regards to fundraising.

All parents and guardians that intend to be on campus (Yard Helper, Art-in-Action, etc.) in the presence of children and function as a chaperone on field trips, or functioin as a coach, commissioner, score keeper, etc. in the Athletics program must meet the following requirements.

• Complete the online course "Protecting God's Children 4.0"
• Complete and pass a live scan form (fingerprints)

1. First, create an an account using the "First-Time Registrant" button on the VIRTUS website.
2. Complete the training module (currently Protecting God's Children 4.0). This needs to be renewed every 3 years in order to maintain compliance.
3. Obtain a Live Scan Form either from schoolspeak or from the office.
4. Go to a Live Scan vendor to be fingerprinted.
5. Once the fingerprint from the state DOJ and the FBI have been entered into VIRTUS and the training module is complete, you are now eligible to minister with minors.

Please Note - Be patient. The return time for fingerprint results varies widely.

Dear All Souls Catholic School Families,

When it is time that you need to renew your Virtus account, you will receive a reminder. However, if you allow the deadline for the reminder to pass, your account will be automatically disabled by the Archdiocese of San Francisco. As a result, your fingerprints will be wiped from your Virtus account. That means, you will need to redo your LIveScan (fingerprints).

While we wait for your fingerprints to clear again, you will be unable to coach, volunteer at school, chaperone on field trips, etc. So, please pay attention to your Virtus reminders and respond promptly to all notifications.
