A Message from the Principal
A huge thank you to Justin Mersiovsky who has helped with afternoon carpool every day since day 1 and has kept us hydrated with water and Gatorade. Justin, you are a life saver!
This year, we will be practicing safety drills each month. The drills we practice are shown below on the SRP poster.
Speaking of safety, it's time for the annual Safety Poster contest. This year, students are invited to create a poster about SOCIAL MEDIA AND INTERNET SAFETY. Posters must:
1. Be student Created.
2. Have the student's name, grade, and school on the back of the poster.
3. Be turned into the front office by September 27.
The two winning posters will advance to the district level. The district level winners will be turned into posters that will be displayed on campuses throughout the district.

Cell Phones and Other Electronic Devices
In accordance with the Student Handbook, all personal electronic devices must be turned off during the instructional day. This includes cell phones and smart watches. The policy can be found in the Student Handbook starting on page 54.
Specials Schedule (Art, PE, Music, Technology, Health)
This year, students will be on a 6 day rotating specials schedule, so there will not be a set day for PE. Please refer to this schedule (which is also on the Parent Guide) to see where your kids will be each day for specials. Tennis shoes/sneakers are REQUIRED for PE and health and are highly encouraged every day as kids do like to run and jump and play at recess and sneakers are the safest option.
