Sharing or Transferring Your Google Drive Files
Are you retiring or otherwise leaving the District? Would you like to share or take with you resources you have created in your Google Drive?
As the school year comes to an end, there have been a number of questions about sharing resources with colleagues or transferring them to a different account to take with you. The Technology Department has put together directions to walk you through the process of how to share resources if you are leaving the District, as well as how to use Google Takeout to take resources with you. All of this information can be found in the NJSD Tech Resource Hub in Canvas or by clicking on the following links.

Some things you should take into consideration if you are seeking a transfer:

2. You need to inform your current principal/supervisor that you are considering a transfer.
3. You will only be considered for transfer two times for a given school year.
4. Employees with an in-progress improvement plan on file are not eligible for transfer.

Trauma Informed Care Training Set for June 27
NJSD and Us2 Behavioral Health with host a free Trauma Informed Care training for staff on Thursday, June 27 from 8-noon at Neenah High School. The training helps participants learn about trauma and the implications of traumatic experiences on brain science.
Understanding these concepts and incorporating a new 'multicultural trauma-informed lens' can reshape our interactions with minoritized communities. Knowing this approach helps participants advocate and implement new strategies in their professional settings. The workshop will address these issues through a combination of interactive dialogue, focused discussion, applied-practice exercises, and small group work. The event is free to all NJSD staff. Health and Wellness Center Explains Anemia
From Prevea Nurse Practitioner Sarah Bleier, APNP, FNP-C
Anemia is a problem where there are not enough healthy red blood cells or hemoglobin to carry oxygen to the body’s tissues. Hemoglobin is your body’s main transporter of oxygen from the lungs to all tissues, and it circulates attached to red blood cells. When there are not enough healthy red blood cells, hemoglobin cannot get where it needs to go. When there is not enough hemoglobin, oxygen has nothing to attach to for transport and cannot get where it needs to go. Click here to read more

Google Workspace is in, Zoom is Out
Our current Zoom contract is ending this summer. The special pricing we received during the Covid era has expired, and Zoom's new price is prohibitive. This summer, we're excited to be transitioning from free Google Workspace to Google Workspace's Education Plus. This paid version of Google Workspace brings many advantages, such as access to the full functionality of Google Meet, electronic signatures, advanced security features, in-domain plagiarism checking, and more!
It's important to note that this switch won't affect our use of Canvas as our learning management system. We'll continue using Canvas as usual. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Rocco Marchionda.
