"The Leaflet"

Marian Anderson performed at Mansfield Senior High School on January 31, 1939. When she arrived in Mansfield to stay at the Leland the night before, she was turned away because she was colored. Fortunately, Louis Bromfield was called and she was able to stay at his residence and make her scheduled performance. 68 days later she would be invited to sing on the National Mall, arranged by First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt.

Frederick Douglas, abolitionist, was invited to speak to the congregation of the Mansfield Congregational Church by Rev. James B. Walker in 1857. Douglas and Walker were part of many anti-slavery advocacy meetings in the 1850s.

Enrollment is now live for the 25/26 academic year. Please complete enrollment as soon as possible to secure your spot for next school year. After February 28th your student is not guaranteed a spot if enrollment is not complete. When enrolling, please make sure you are choosing the proper year for enrollment which would be 2025-2026.

Feel free to share that we are enrolling siblings for existing students as well as new students for kindergarten for the 2025-2026 Academic Year.

Please understand that the doors are locked and students that are dropped off at 8:15 are considered tardy. We have a number of students that are showing up late and this throws off attendance as well as student ability to eat breakfast. Please have your child to school by 8:10 to make sure they are not tardy.
