Winning Ticket for Saint Joseph’s Bronco Raffle Purchased At OLV Mass
On Saturday, October 5th, one lucky winner learned that she had won a 2024 Ford Bronco Everglades. The winner, who was just visiting the area, had bought her ticket from a SJCA student following Mass at OLV Church. She had only one ticket in the drawing – but it was the lucky one! “We were able to sell 1038 tickets,” said Mrs. Anna Rupprecht, Saint Joseph’s principal. “600 of which were sold in the last week before the drawing.” Proceeds from the raffle benefit the SJCA Athletic Program and other student activities. Check out www.stjoeacad.org to view a video of the winning ticket drawing. Saint Joseph’s extends a special thanks to all the OLV school and parish families who purchased tickets to support the WolfPack!

SJCA 2024 Fall Family Retreat - 11/15-11/16
Jordan Langdon of Families of Character, is coming Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy! Jordan is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience coaching parents and families, a Catholic wife and mom of three from Denver, CO, and the CEO of Families of Character, the "#1 resource for in-home child and family development."
Our Families of Character retreat will be focused on providing valuable tools for you and your spouse to utilize as partners and parents in a cohesive, Catholic family unit. We will intentionally take the time to grow together, prayerfully, to emerge from the weekend as more present, grace-giving, and confident captains of our "family team." We are so excited to share it with you!
As last year, SJCA will host a fall family weekend retreat, which is scheduled for November 15-16, 2024. Complimentary childcare will be provided, as last year, and all meals will be provided as well. The cost is $65 per couple. Sarah Miller, our new Development Assistant here at SJCA, will be organizing the event with me, so if you feel inclined to help volunteer as well as participate with your spouse, please reach out! Sarah's Saint Joe's contact is development@sjcacademy.org. The full agenda for the weekend is attached.
You will see posters for the event at church and in the bulletin soon, but to give you priority, and for more information here's the registration link:
Please let us know if you have any questions. We are looking forward to having you at Saint Joe's this fall!
