September 27

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,
So many great things are happening already! Thanks to our students for their cooperation with the new cell phone rules. Teachers and staff are reporting that students are fully engaged in their learning and the diminished urge to check their phones has made a world of difference.
Our first Friday Night Lights Pentucket Panthers football game is tonight (Friday 9/27) at 6:00pm. Tickets are on sale now - we urge you to purchase tickets in advance electronically on the PRSD website. Just look for the "Tickets" tab and click Athletics. Students grade 7-12 can attend for free with their Student IDs (grade 7 bring your schedule).
Shout out to the Varsity Volleyball team for their BIG win against Lynnfield! Go Panthers :)
Have a great week everyone!
Mrs. Erhardt
PRMHS Principal

GENERAL INFORMATION
Trails & Sails 9/14- 9/29
Trails & Sails is a free events series that takes place every September and showcases the amazing natural, historical, and cultural resources we are so lucky to have here in Essex County, Massachusetts, also known as the Essex National Heritage Area.
This year’s program will take place on September 14th – 29th and includes hundreds of free local events coordinated by our partner sites throughout the region including the Trustees, Essex County Greenbelt, Historic New England, National Park Service, historical societies, local museums, libraries, farms, conservation groups, and more!
You can view the full line-up here.
4H Music Group
The Middlesex County 4H Fife & Drum Corps teaches young people (ages 8-18) how to play the fife and drum and are looking to recruit new members, especially fifers and bass drummers, as our numbers were affected by the pandemic.
We offer weekly music lessons on Sunday afternoons at Bemis Hall in Lincoln, with a low participation fee of $40 per year. No prior musical experience is needed. Our youth-led 4H group, founded in 1972, continues New England's fife and drum tradition. As one of two parent volunteers, I can attest to the benefits of the program, which has greatly enriched my son's experience. Regular CORI checks are done on all adults who work in our program.
