Dear Ranger Families,
As we approach our state testing window, we want to keep you informed and help ensure your child is fully prepared to do their best. State assessments are an important opportunity for students to demonstrate their learning and for our school to measure progress and identify areas of growth.
Testing Schedule:
ELA Section 1: Tuesday, April 15
ELA Section 2: Wednesday, April 16
Math Section 1: Wednesday, April 23
Math Section 2: Thursday, April 24
8th Grade Science, Section 1: Wednesday, April 30
8th Grade Science, Section 2: Thursday, May 1
How You Can Help at Home:
-
Ensure adequate rest: A good night’s sleep before testing days helps students stay alert and focused.
-
Provide a healthy breakfast: A nutritious meal each morning will give students the energy they need to succeed.
-
Be on time: Arriving at school on time helps reduce stress and sets a positive tone for the day.
-
Offer encouragement: A few kind words from you can boost your child’s confidence and motivation.
What Students Need to Bring:
-
A CHARGED chromebook
Two or more sharpened pencils
A TI-30XIIS Calculator (this was on the school supply list, no need to purchase a new one)
We are so proud of the hard work our students and teachers have put in this year, and we appreciate your continued support at home. If you have any questions or concerns about the testing process, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for partnering with us in your child’s success!
Best regards,
Mr. Endres and Ms. Coalter
