Holy Trinity Catholic School January 30th, 2025
Our Mission is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ,
to provide a high-quality education,
and to guide children in living the Catholic faith
Prayer
Amen
A Note from Mrs. Longden
Our students have had a busy and full year so far! Our staff has a love for our faith, science, math, reading, social studies, and so much more. Because of this our students excitedly participate in activities that encourage them to think about the world in a different way, use critical thinking to come up with out of the box solutions and interact with their faith in an exploratory way. With our Sophia Institute Catechesis, our students are well prepared for living a life as Christians who make a positive difference in this world and understand the Mass on a deeper level. Holy Trinity is a Wonderful School!
Today more than ever, we must make amends, a reparation of honor, to the adorable heart of Jesus. Strive to become a victim of reparation for so much indifference, so many sacrileges against Jesus Eucharistic. It is the work for our times. Saint Paul warned the Early Christians:
“For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the death of the
Lord until he comes. Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily, will have to answer for the body and blood of the Lord. A person should examine himself, and so eat the bread and drink the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself. That is why many among you are ill and infirm, and a considerable number are dying.”
(1 Corinthians 11:26-30)
When we make reparation for the many offenses against the Blessed Sacrament, we console Jesus and offer Him our hearts full of love and gratitude for his Real Presence in the Eucharist. If someone abused, blasphemed, bullied, or maligned your friend, would you stand up for your friend, letting him know that he is loved, and shower him with kind words and love? Shouldn’t we do the same for Jesus, our best friend?
(excerpts from 30 Day Eucharistic Revival by Fr. Don Calloway.)
Blessings,
Mrs. Longden
