Good Evening Page Families,
As we come to an end to the 2023 - 2024 school year I would like to thank the Page Staff for all of their dedication and hard work this year. Our Page students have demonstrated remarkable growth, not just academically but also personally. You've embraced new ways of learning, supported each other, and shown great perseverance. Take pride in your achievements and the progress you've made. Remember, learning doesn’t stop here—keep your curiosity alive and continue to explore and discover over the summer break. Our Page families, your support and partnership have been invaluable. Thank you for being an integral part of our school community.
We are also excited that this year the major construction project was completed and we moved into the new addition that included 15 new teaching spaces, an expanded courtyard for outdoor learning, additional offices and meeting spaces for staff and students, a beautiful back foyer, expanded media center and cafeteria. Outside we have two new basketball courts, an additional blacktop, and playgrounds for primary, upper and pre-kindergarten students. Thank you to Keller Construction Company and MCPS Construction Division.
As we head into this final week, let’s celebrate our accomplishments and the wonderful memories we’ve created together. Over the summer please check the school website and the Remind communication tool for school messages and updates. As a reminder we will no longer use ClassDojo to message families.
This will be the last new letter of the school year, so I would like to take a moment to wish all families an enjoyable summer. We look forward to seeing you refreshed and ready for the new school year if you are returning to Page. If you are moving on to middle school, another MCPS school or a completely different place - Good Luck!
Looking forward to a great summer!!

Principal

Important Information from Past Newsletters
Have you started to Spring Clean? -Donate to Clothing to Cash - Proceeds go to Page ES
Clothing to Cash® is a program that collects new and used clothing, shoes, sheets, towels, and all textiles and pays the school for every pound collected. As your child is outgrowing clothes, don’t throw those clothes away, give clothes and household items a second life by donating them to WT Page ES. The white donation box is conveniently located at the end of the car loop.
This recycling program is a win-win! It’s free and convenient for families and also serves as an ongoing fundraiser that serves our students and school community.
Page families, relatives, neighbors, and staff are all encouraged to participate!
🚸 **Attention All Parents: Important Safety Reminders**
Ensuring the safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority. As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain a safe environment, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following reminders:
1. **Visitor Protocol:** If you are planning to visit the school building for any reason, please remember to stop by the main office first to obtain a visitor's pass. This helps us keep track of who is on campus and ensures that everyone in our school community remains safe. If a staff members stops you please remain respectful and return to the main office.
2. **Parking Regulations:** For the safety of all students and smooth traffic flow during morning arrival (8:30 - 9:30 am) and dismissal (3:00 - 4:00 pm), we kindly request that parents refrain from parking in the bus loop and on the side of the bus loop near the cafeteria. Parking in these areas can obstruct the path of buses and create potential hazards. Please utilize designated parking areas or park on the street to avoid any inconvenience.
Your cooperation with these safety measures is greatly appreciated. By working together, we can maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all members of our school community.
Thank you for your attention to these important reminders.
Make Payments on MySchoolBucks and Apply for Free and Reduced Priced Meals (FARMS)
Payments to your child’s account can be made directly to the school cafeteria via cash or with a check made payable to the school. We recommend not sending cash with your child as we cannot be responsible for lost cash. You also may make payments electronically at www.MySchoolBucks.com.
Free and Reduced Priced Meals: Your child may be eligible to receive Free or Reduced-price Meals. You may apply online at www.MySchoolApps.com or complete a Household Application for Free and Reduced-price Meals, which can be send home upon request.
