Initial Allocations for Reimbursement

What should I be doing in early November?
- Ask about siblings and refer families to early childhood programs - click for a helpful checklist
- Connect UHY and families with food assistance resources when schools are closed (Thanksgiving week, winter break, etc.)
- MV ARP Final Reports are due Nov. 29th in NexSys - if your district or PSA accepted ARP II funds ask your Level 5 to initiate the report and help complete it with you
- Check to see if students need winter wear or boots

Question of the Day
Our student information system shows alerts for students who are homeless - is that allowed?
- McKinney-Vento / homeless identification is protected under FERPA
- Most staff do not need to know about this status
- Systems like Powerschool and others have Student Alert Management settings which can adjust who is able to view each type of alert or flag
