WELCOME BACK !

We are looking forward to seeing all of our students on Tuesday and hope that you all have had a wonderful break. As we move into winter, please be sure to check for closures and delays on our district website and social media. It would also be a good idea to make sure that your information is current in Final Forms as the district also utilizes that information when district calls are made.

As we move into January, we will be administering Middle of the Year Assessments in Math and Reading to monitor academic progress. Please check with your student to see if they need to replace their headphones as some of these assessments have a listening section.

THANKFUL FOR A STAFF MEMBER!

One of the best gifts any staff member can receive is a little note of thanks for the hard work they do each day. ARRIVAL AT JACKSON AND LAKEWOOD ELEMENTARY

When dropping off your students in the arrival line, please note that staff have to leave the arrival area and go to their classes in the building at 8:50am. Students are considered late to school after 8:50 am unless they ride a bus. If you arrive and there are no staff outside after 8:50am, please park your car and bring your student to the office . Thank you for your time and support in this matter.

STUDENTS WHO ARE EVERYDAY PICK UPS

Please be sure to send a note or call the office and let our secretary, Mrs. Weatherspoon, know if your child is going to be an everyday pick up. We have a checklist that helps us to dismiss these students each day. If the office is not aware that you child is a pick up, this will cause you a delay at dismissal.
