Make-Up Picture Day is for whomever needs pictures, i.e.,: Freshmen who did NOT take pics at Frosh Orientation; new students, new staff, or anyone that did NOT have their picture taken on May 9, when most of our returning students had their picture taken. Make-up pictures will be taken during your primary English class.

Attention anyone interested in Girls Golf. If you have never played before, no problem, we will teach you and we have clubs you can borrow. There will be a mandatory meeting in room 117 on Friday at the beginning of lunch . Golf is even more fun with friends so bring your friends!

Any girls or boys interested in being a manager for Boys Soccer for this season please stop by Room 229 at lunch for a quick meeting on Friday September 1.

If you want to learn more or test your knowledge on Latino history, geography, literature, music, dance, politics, etc., please contact Mrs. Flores aflores@avhsd.org (RM 227) or Mrs. Maldonado amaldonado@avhsd.org (RM 245) ASAP to participate in this year's Latino Knowledge Bowl.

Over 40 student athletes and their families attended USC vs. San Jose State at the Colisseum on Saturday. Everyone had a great time at the 56-28 win, and developed a vision for their future college experience!
