Looking Ahead - Exciting Updates for 24-25
As Insight PA's enrollment numbers have grown, so has our staff! We are extremely excited to share that thanks to the teams we have been able to build throughout the past few years, we will be bringing some services currently provided by Stride/K12 "in house" next year.
What does this mean for you?
By bringing more services "in house", Insight PA will have more control over them. This will allow us to make sure things are optimized for how things work at Insight PA. (This also means less places to go for help and better service for you!) Check out some of the exciting plans we have for next school year below - we'll be sharing more information throughout the summer to prepare you for the beginning of the year, so be sure to keep an eye on your email inbox!
We recognize that change can feel a little unsettling. Please rest assured we have been and will continue to work diligently to ensure the best possible transitions for our students, families, and employees!
New Communications Platform
We are excited to announce that we have adopted a new form of school-to-home communication for the 2024-2025 school year called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with Insight PA. It provides a safe and efficient way for school leaders, teachers, staff, and parents to communicate with each other.
What does this mean for you?
You'll be able to set your preferences so that messages come to you in a way that is convenient for you, whether that be email, text, or a notification in the ParentSquare app. Messages will be automatically translated into your preferred language and organized in one centralized location. Students will also be able to communicate with their teachers directly in ParentSquare.
New Class Platform
Several of our teachers have been piloting a new virtual class platform with some of their classes during Quarter 4. This platform, called Class, will replace NewRow for the 2024-2025 school year.
What does this mean for you?
Students will now be able to access their live course sessions directly in Schoology where they are already completing their coursework - no need to log into other websites to check their schedules or access their sessions!
PowerSchool Parent Portal
Throughout this year, we have been moving all of our student information over to a platform called PowerSchool. Starting with the 2024-2025 school year, we will be officially launching the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
What does this mean for you?
Parents and guardians will be able to log into the Parent Portal to view their students' grades, absences, course schedules, and more!
Don't Forget!

Title Programs - Parent and Family Needs Assessment
Title I, II, III and IV are federally funded grants designed to help students reach high academic achievement. Insight PA participates in a school-wide Title Program. We value the importance of a strong home and school connection. In an effort to support this belief, we are asking for your feedback. This will help inform school administration about the effectiveness of the Title Programs and determine ways to improve student learning.
All families who complete this survey will be entered into a raffle for an item of their choice (up to $35) from our school store. The final three questions regarding student and parent/learning coach names and emails must be completed in order to be entered into the raffle.
Insight PA Family Profiles
We're creating profiles of our Insight PA families to share with prospective families! The information you share in this survey will be used for blog posts on our school website. Some responses may also be highlighted on our social media pages and in marketing materials including print brochures, fliers, advertisements, and more.
Thank you for taking the time to share your Insight PA story with us and for being a part of our community!
All families who complete this survey by Friday, June 7th will be entered into a raffle for an item of their choice (up to $35) from our school store.

Focus on Federal Programs
What is Title I?
Title I, Part A of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), is a federal program that provides financial assistance to schools. This funding is used to provide additional academic support and learning opportunities for students at schools with high percentages of economically disadvantaged children. The program is intended to help ensure that all students meet or exceed challenging state academic standards.
The goals of Title I are to:
- Increase academic achievement
- Provide direct instructional support to students
- Provide professional development for teachers
- Promote parent and family education and engagement
Parent and Family Engagement
Insight PA believes that Parent and Family Engagement is of paramount importance to student success. Every Title I school, in collaboration with parents, must prepare a school level Parent and Family Engagement policy. The Parent and Family Engagement Policy describes how the school will involve families in an organized, ongoing, and timely way, in the planning, review, and improvement of the Title I program at their school.
Right to Know
This letter lets you know about your right to request information about the qualifications of classroom staff working with your child and information about student assessments given during the school year.
