Happy holidays to you and your family! It is a busy time of the year, and if your family needs help at this time, please contact our counselor, Taylor McDonald, at tmcdonald@magnoliaisd.org.

Thank you for your support this first semester. Smith Elementary is a wonderful place because we have the best staff, kids, and families. I hope to see you at this month's family events, and I wish you a peaceful break and a very Happy New Year!

Teacher of the Month

Congratulations to third grade math teacher, Jessica Markham. Ms. Markham leads her team in creating engaging lessons and does whatever she can to support our school.

Para of the Month

The December Para of the Month is Laura Marsh. Sweet and kind-hearted, Ms. Marsh is dedicated to doing whatever she can to support our kids.

Holiday Dress-Up Days

Students and staff are invited to have some holiday fun starting on Monday.

PTO News

Please join us for the PTO meeting TONIGHT at 5:30. After the meeting, we will be decorating the school for the holidays, and snacks will be provided.

PTO also has two events this Friday. The first is pictures with Cowboy Santa during the day. The cost is $15 for one child and $25 for all siblings. They will also take cash on Friday if you are unable to pay online. On Friday night, PTO is hosting a free family game and movie night starting at 6:30. Bring your comfy clothes, pillows, and blankets to watch a movie, play games, and maybe even see an appearance from the Grinch. Snacks will be available for purchase.
