PRM Class Committees Food Drive
The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade class committees organized and ran a Thanksgiving Food Drive during the month of November. As a school community, we put together 30 Thanksgiving bags that were delivered to the local food pantry. As a school community, we collected 548 Thanksgiving food items. Thank you so much for coming together to help out others.
We wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

Honor Roll for the First Marking Period
Honor roll certificates for the first marking period will be handed out through period 8 classes on Monday. There is a new feature to our honor roll this year: students can be recognized as receiving "Honors" or "High Honors." "Honors" is based on the standard that we have traditionally used, which is an average of 83 or above in all classes graded on the A-F scale, and no less than an "S" (Satisfactory) for classes graded on the O-S-U scale. "High Honors" is a recognition for students who have an average of 90 or above. Each student who reaches either of these standards will receive a certificate honoring their achievement.
Points for Parents
Bus Pass Requests
- The parents of both students must email Mrs. Mennonna (mennonnar@kinnelon.org) and Mrs. Struck (struckc@kinnelon.org), our administrative assistants, and Mr. Mongon (mongonm@kinnelon.org) and Mrs. Yosifides (yosifidess@kinnelon.org). The purpose of requiring emails from parents of each student is to ensure that each family is aware of the plan, and the purpose of emailing all four people in the main office at PRM is to ensure that the request is seen in a timely manner.
- Once the emails have been received, we check to make sure there is space on the bus. When that is confirmed, we issue a bus pass that the student who is riding his/her friend's bus will show to the driver to indicate that he/she has permission to ride.
If you are going to request a bus pass for your child, we encourage you to do so as early as possible so that we can take the aforementioned steps in time for the bus ride home.
