Dear Falcon students and families,

I want to take this opportunity to wish all of you the merriest of Christmases and the happiest New Year. May all your hopes and dreams for the future in 2025 come to fruition!

This past week was a flurry of activity. I had the pleasure of attending our amazing Drama evening production of the holiday classic “A Christmas Carol” and was blown away by the talent that our students displayed throughout the play. We also had an abundance of FLI planned Christmas activities throughout the week that all our students got to take part in. The week ended with two awesome music concerts put on by our Rock & Pop General Music students and our Concert Band.

This week sees our focus squarely on academics before the Christmas break as a lot of unit assessments will be written. This time of year can bring with it a lot of distraction and barriers to focus. Although we want the Christmas spirit to be alive and well at Facey, we still want our students to be active and present in their learning. Please help us support them to finish off the year with a strong learning focus.

A fantastic night of Rock and Pop hits entertained us last Thursday (Dec. 12) as our General Music class took to the stage for their Winter Musicfest rock concert! Facey has such talented musicians and we were treated to some great performances!

• Grad Lists posted: November 25, March 17, and May 5. (the grad list will have students who are "on track" with their credits or on a clear path to acquiring their graduation credentials).

Our Winter Winds Concert with our Bev Facey Concert band was a wonderful Friday evening filled with beautiful music.

Bev Facey High School was treated to four straight days of amazing performances by our Drama students in the classic holiday tale of A Christmas Carol. Our students shone in this amazing, highly technical production!
