A message from the new West High Activites Director- Gabe Hoogers!
My name is Gabe Hoogers, and pictured with me is my wife Kelsey. We also have a 9 month old daughter, Makenna. I grew up in Sioux City, attending North High School before heading to Wayne State College for my post-secondary education. My family is deeply rooted in Sioux City and we love everything the Sioux City Schools have to offer for their students and the community.
For the past four years, I have taught Science at West High School and served as the Head Baseball Coach. During that time, I have witnessed firsthand the tremendous things our students at West High School take part in on a daily basis, and I can't wait to support and showcase our students' talents and achievements in my new role. West High Activities have a special place in my heart and I am honored and excited to serve West High School as the new Activities Director.
