Please fill out the PRE-REGISTRATION form for the Winter Party next Friday at 3:00. Parents and guests will be allowed in the building at 2:50 and then back to the classrooms at a touch before 3:00. As always, in order to expedite getting our guests into the building it is crucial that you fill out the Pre-Registration form AND are already in the Raptor system.

When you pre-register, you will get a confirmation email. Please save this email in case there are any issues. We look forward to seeing you on Friday at 3:00.

Thank you for all that chose to order POGO Passes, we know there are lots of you out there that purchase them during Black Friday. it was a great easy way to get funds for PTO events. We are thankful for the opportunity to partner with POGO Pass. They gave the added $5 discount during the month of November, but you can purchase passes at any time and use the code GRAYHAWK. They will continue to support us when using that code.

This year we are also going to surprise teachers by "Stocking the Lounge" with treats to get them through those last few days before Winter break!

Our teachers deserve the best and we wouldn't be able to do these special things without all the support of OUR amazing Gray Hawk Families. The Gray Hawk 5th graders are raising money for their 5th grade celebration and legacy gift to the school! You'll love these 50x60" cozy printed fleece blankets and the 5th graders receive 50% of the proceeds!

Blankets are set to be delivered to Gray Hawk on December 20. Blankets ordered by Gray Hawk families will be sent home with students if they are delivered before 2pm. Community members who order will be contacted for pickup before Christmas. Please note that it is possible for shipment delays during the holidays, so while Dec 20 is the expected date, we cannot make any guarantees regarding Christmas delivery.

Epigenetics is an absolutely fascinating topic. The graphic below gives a great overview of what it is and if you are interested check out the 5 minute video that gives some real world examples of study. I might just happen to have a gift card or two for anyone that sends me an email letting me know your thoughts on epigenetics and how this may or may not apply to OUR students (and ourselves).

Our Parent Informational Meeting will be in the spring. You will be given information prior to this meeting, so completing this form will help us to get all communication to you. POGO passes are now live. Passes are $5 cheaper during the month of November and Gray Hawk still earns $5 per pass. There’s no timeline to when this fundraiser has to end. Please be sure to use our code: “GrayHawk” when purchasing. Passes for other cities are included for out of town relatives. Passes can be purchased now as a “gift” and are good for a year from when they are activated.
