Lakeview Ledger
February 15, 2024
Dear Lakeview Families,
Teacher teams will begin to plan for 2024-25 class rosters in April and May. When preparing classroom placements for next year, our staff carefully considers the match of student and teacher, the blend of students within a room, and the balance of both classes academically, socially, and by gender. This procedure is used so that classrooms of the same grade are heterogeneous and balanced academically and socially. As we begin to construct class lists for next year, the Lakeview Elementary staff will consider many factors including parent/guardian input on learning needs and styles. Have a wonderful spring break- school resumes Tuesday, April 2nd.

2024-25 Incoming 4K Student and Caregiver Open House
Please join us on April 4th anytime between 5:30-7:00 PM at Bay Lane Elementary. When you arrive, be sure to grab a Student Bingo Card that will lead you and your child through our 4K classrooms. During the open house, students and caregivers will have an opportunity to learn more about math, literacy, writing, fine motor, school readiness and social skills. It should take approximately 30-45 minutes to visit all the planned activities. There will be classroom teachers and administrators available to provide information and answer general questions you might have. More information regarding 4K and registration can be found on our district website.
