Strategic Planning Committee continues work around mission, strategic priorities
The 2025-30 Strategic Plan Steering Committee recently gathered for its third meeting, continuing the important work of shaping the future of Blue Valley Schools.
The committee reviewed several mission statement drafts, aiming for a clear, inspiring statement that reflects Blue Valley’s dedication to lifelong learning, resilience and community contribution. Through discussion, members narrowed options, preferring concise language that underscores the district's commitment to preparing students for a meaningful future.
In addition, committee members engaged in collaborative exercises to establish key strategic priorities. Among the themes identified were safe and secure school environments, balanced health and well-being, academic excellence and real-world learning opportunities. The input gathered in this meeting will shape a preliminary draft of the district's strategic priorities, with further goal-setting discussions to follow.
Community members are encouraged to stay engaged by visiting the Strategic Plan webpage for updates and opportunities to participate.
