Thank you to our friends at Code Ninjas Northridge for giving some of our parents the night off and hosting our scholars for a night filled with robot making, coding, and video game making. All of the kids had a great time with each other and a portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit your Balboa Spirit Club. Be sure to check out their schedule of upcoming camps if you're looking for an engaging activity to fill some of the days of our upcoming school breaks

Student Council Food Drive

As we head into the holiday months, let’s remind our scholars to ground themselves with an attitude of gratitude. Please support our Student Council’s food drive, which runs from November 6 to 20. More details can be found in the attached flyer.

HELP NEEDED - Psychomotor Volunteer Sign up Sheet

There is no Psychomotor this week due to minimum days. Not all classes will be holding psychomotor during the 2 week period between breaks.

Please continue to signup and support our Psychomotor activity. Please do not signup if you are not able to attend and be sure to encourage other approved volunteers to sign up too! Our scholars love seeing their parents out on the field helping.

Yearbook Committee

It takes a great deal of effort to put together our yearbook. Please help by joining the yearbook committee and distribute the work amongst a group of dedicated and creative volunteers. Click here to read the different opportunities and signup.

On Campus Volunteer

Register to be an on-campus volunteer to help out during the school day. Classroom support, Psychomotor, Field Trips, and more. There are plenty of ways to help out. To learn more and to apply, please visit the LAUSD Volunteer Portal. You need to re-apply for each school year.
