PRINCIPAL'S UPDATE
Dear Eagle Crest Families,
Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders have been doing an incredible job with CMAS testing! They are taking this opportunity to show what they know, apply the skills they have been practicing, and truly flex their knowledge muscles. It has been inspiring to see their focus, determination, and confidence as they tackle these assessments.
One of the sweetest things about this time of year is the support from our younger students. Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders have written encouraging notes, drawn pictures, and created posters to cheer on their buddy classrooms. These yearly state assessments are just one of many ways our students showcase their learning, and we are so proud of their growth, effort, and the sense of community that shines throughout our school. Thank you for your ongoing support in helping our students do their best!
Warmly,
Amanda
PS- Join us for a FREE evening of biking fun, safety, and community at the Eagle Crest Bike Fest! Bring a picnic and enjoy the festivities while kids learn essential bike safety skills and have a blast riding with friends. We need volunteers to help make this event a success—please consider signing up to lend a hand. Click here to sign up. Check out the flyer below for more details—we can’t wait to see you there! 🚲💜
At Eagle Crest, we very much value the support and partnership from families as we work together to provide a thoughtful and well-rounded education in every classroom, every day. When creating classes, staff take into account the academic, social, and behavioral strengths and needs of each student as well as creating balanced classroom communities. We would like to ask families for your thoughts related to your child's strengths and needs in regards to their learning as we determine class placements for next school year. Please Note: we do not accept requests for specific teachers. Please take a few moments to complete this optional survey, which will remain open until April 20th at 4pm.

PTO UPDATE
Dear Eagle Crest Families,
Did you know that roughly half of funds raised by PTO pay for paraprofessionals who work throughout Eagle Crest? Because of your generous donations, paras work one-on-one with emerging readers in the younger grades, teach upper-grade students math, and allow teachers to spend more time in the classrooms by taking over tasks such as copying and printing. Thank you for supporting Eagle Crest students and staff!
Sincerely,
Katie Lancaster, PTO President

KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT
If you have a rising Kindergarten student or know a family with a child who will turn five before October 1st, now is the time to register for Kindergarten! Early registration allows us to plan effectively for teachers and resources by giving us a clearer picture of our incoming student numbers. We are also currently accepting students through open enrollment, so even if a family does not live within our immediate neighborhood, they may still apply to join our Eagle Crest community.
