Pinelands Experience
Students in Good Standing
At Pinelands, we offer lots of opportunities for students to get involved, make friends, and have fun. While we believe school is about more than just the classroom, learning always comes first. At the start of each school year, or when a student enrolls, they are considered a "Student in Good Standing." This status allows them to enjoy privileges like student parking, attending school dances, and participating in school events and activities.
However, a student can lose their "Good Standing" status and miss out on these privileges if they don’t meet the following standards for academics, attendance, and behavior:
- The student has no more than one “F” in the previous marking period.
- Attendance - The student is not at risk of losing credit (NC) in any of their classes.
- Behavior - The student has not earned 4 or more discipline points in the previous marking period. Some serious disciplinary issues result in an immediate 30-day loss of Good Standing.
For more details, students should check the discipline section of the handbook.

Important Reminder on Cell Phone & Ear Bud Use
We want to remind you of our policy regarding cell phones and ear pods/ear buds during school hours. Students are not permitted to use cell phones or wear ear buds/ear pods during class time unless special circumstances arise. This policy helps us maintain a focused, productive learning environment.
Students may use their phones responsibly and appropriately between periods and during lunch. We appreciate your support in reinforcing these guidelines to ensure a positive educational experience for all students.
Thank you for your cooperation!
