This week students participated in benchmark testing to see where their skills are at in both Reading and Math. Teachers will use this information to ensure students instructional needs are met and that they are set up for a year of academic growth! It has been a great start to the school year we are looking forward to a wonderful year as Rangers!

We are bringing back Lunch Time Visitors!

• Lunch will be on select Fridays
• 12 Slots per grade
• 1 adult per student (please no siblings or other adults)
• There is a specific table in the lunchroom for you to have lunch with your student, you will not be sitting with their class
• Please follow lunchroom and recess expectations

All lunch time visitors are required to have an approved volunteer application.

Lunch Times:

• Kindergarten: 10:45-11:10
• 1st Grade: 11:15-11:40
• 2nd Grade: 11:45-12:10
• 3rd Grade: 12:10-12:35
• 4th Grade: 12:35-1:00
• 5th Grade: 1:00-1:25

Reminder ANNUAL STUDENT INFORMATION UPDATE is required to be completed as soon as possible.

Each year, we ask parents and guardians to update their student(s) information. It is critical for communication from the district and buildings to have correct phone numbers, and emails. We are also asking you to update health information, housing information, and more.

Please take 5 minutes to complete the digital documents on Family Access to ensure accurate information. Please log on to Skyward Family Access (link to Skyward) and click on “2024-25 Annual Student Information Update”.

Please update student/family demographic information, emergency information & contacts, health history, student race/ethnicity, student housing questionnaire, military status, home internet, and family language preferences.

*Important* Please fill out the Health History form entirely. Even if your child has something as simple as "seasonal allergies" or "headaches' we need this information in order to assess them for illness. If you have no health concerns for your child at this time please mark the "No” for “Does your student have any health concerns”.

The White River Education Foundation supports White River students district wide. Some of the things they support are our Kindergarten field trip to Northwest Trek and our 5th grade field trip to JA Biz Town. Their annual fundraiser is coming up on November 2nd. Elink is the tool for families to access individual student transportation information. Families will input their address and student grade level to determine bus route number, bus stop location and bus stop times. The WRSD Transportation website includes log in information and other details.
