MISSION: IGNITING A PASSION FOR LEARNING
Message from the Principal
Dear Families,
As the end of the school year is quickly approaching, I wanted to share some important reminders with you. Each grade level will be going on a field trip on the last day of school. If you're interested in chaperoning, please reach out to the contacts listed on the field trip permission slips for your child's grade level.
Please note that 8th grade will not be accepting outside chaperones for the trip to Kalahari.
Also, Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up soon. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who volunteered to bring in treats and snacks for our staff throughout the week. Thank you all so much for your support!
Let's finish the year strong! Together, we can make these last few weeks memorable and successful for our students.
Thank you for all that you do,
Mrs. Skelton

August Warm-Up for Incoming 9th Grade and Jump to the Middle for Incoming 6th Grade will be August 27 from 8-12.
Message from the IT Department:
Keeping our passwords private and our accounts secure is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, all current 5th grade and 8th grade student passwords will be changing on July 8th. This change is necessary as 6th grade and 9th grade students have increased password security requirements.
In late June, an email will be sent out to student email accounts containing their new password. We kindly ask that you remind your child to write it down in a safe place for future reference. Once the password changes are made, your child will not be able to use their current password to access their accounts.
Get Involved at KMS!
End of the year field trips are starting to take shape! Please mark June 4 on your calendar! All grades will be attending a field trip on this day. We welcome chaperones for the 6th and 7th grade trips. If you are interested please fill out the background check, this does not to be filled out every year.

6th Grade- Milwaukee County Zoo
7th Grade- Bay Beach
Thank you to all the parent volunteers that participated in "Shark Tank" with the 8th grade this past month. The kids loved having you and it was a great experience for all involved!

KMS Spotlight
A sincere thank you to Mrs. Stone and our dedicated art teachers for orchestrating such a memorable Art Gallery Night. I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported our event by purchasing a piece of the mural. The collaboration between Mrs. Stone, Paula, our talented students, and all involved is truly remarkable. It's a privilege to have this beautiful installation grace our KMS building for the next three years.
A special appreciation goes out to the parent volunteers whose invaluable assistance during the mural painting process made it all possible. Your generosity and dedication are deeply appreciated!
