Skyview May Family News
Skyview Eagle Families,
Happy MAY!!! We are finishing our end of year assessments in VPK, Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Grades and are using this updated data to grow your child into the best next grader that they can be in these final 20 days. We are doing a lot of small groups and hands-on learning.
In Grades 3-5 we are just now able to start our end of year testing. Please review the *updated* test calendar below and ensure your child arrives before 9am with a warm and encouraging send off and either breakfast at home or enough time to eat here.
These scores will help determine your child's mastery of grade level content and assist with determining promotion/retention conversations.
Thank you for a wonderful year together. We look forward to finishing strong, having a great Summer Break, and starting back to school on August 11th.
Stay tuned for Save the Dates for the 25-26 school year.

Florida College Prepaid Program:
Florida Prepaid helps families send their children to college with a prepaid tuition plan.
The open enrollment period for the Florida Prepaid College Plan is underway. PCS partner Florida Prepaid is encouraging families to start saving for college early. Prepaid Plans let families lock in the cost of college with fixed monthly payments. Enrollment is open through the end of April. Learn more on the Florida Prepaid website at https://bit.ly/3ZFa2KY.
Lunch with Loved Ones has ended for this school year
New information regarding birthday celebrations:
***We no longer can allow families to send in birthday treats/cupcakes/cookies/etc. We must follow the “Smart Snack” compliance which is a part of statute. Two options...you could send in a gift bag of toys/fidgets/party favors for the classmates to take home OR you could put additional funds on their child’s account to allow them to purchase the “Smart Snack” compliant treats through our Café treats for the whole class on that Friday of their birthday week.***

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all. Service Animals are the only exception.
