What's Been Going On?
Last week was teacher and staff appreciation week. Each day the Lincoln staff was celebrated in a special way.
Students enjoyed showing what they know on the end of the year assessments.
Our Kindergarten and Sabin's Classes enjoyed their trip on the "fun bus" (charter bus) to Lansing's Impression 5 Museum in Lansing.
Upcoming Week
Dear Lincoln Familes,
This week we will be wrapping up end of the year assessments. Please support your student by making sure they are at school on time and get a good night's rest. We appreciate your support and collaboration!
Remember that reading 20 minutes a day is the Lion Way to build strong reading muscles. You reading aloud to your child, reading together, or encouraging them to read independently are all healthy and effective strategies for strengthening their comprehension, speaking, and listening skills. All students K-5 will bring home books to read over the summer. You can expect those to come home the last week of school.
If you are looking for summer programs for your child to participate in, consider:
- The YMCA Summer Camp here at Lincoln! See Ms. Jen or Ms. Dunning for more information.
- Read and Write Kalamazoo Writing Camps for rising 4th-6th Graders
- Premier Sports Summer basketball League (Boys & Girls)
