Sacred Heart Library
September 2023
Welcome Back!
ShaSha made it through the summer and so did we! Please come by the Sacred Heart Library in the School House and visit ShaSha our school fish, affectionally named by our upper school students! Check out a book with your librarian, Mrs. Scholl or you can do self checkout.
The SHA Libraries strive to be a physical and virtual learning environment that provide both space and resources beyond the classroom, for active learning that includes reading, researching, innovative thinking, and collaboration in accordance with the Sacred Heart Goals of faith, intellect, service, community, and growth in a dynamic global community.
The library spaces include the Lower School Library and the Duchesne Room. Students also have access to the SHA Virtual Library using the SHA Destiny Online Catalog, MackinVia & SORA eBooks, and LibGuides. Everyone may request print books by placing holds on books through the Destiny Library Catalog or by coming to the library and checking out books with the librarian There is also a self-checkout computer located in the lower school library. We belong to the Power Library, so I can order a copy of most books through the state system for teachers or the students.
