We had so much fun singing with our 8th graders at the football game Friday night! Everyone sounded amazing! Hats off to the 8th graders of GLJH, WWJH, and the directors Kimberly Dillow and Taylor Young!

All eligible Bella Voce choir members will be on a field trip on Thursday to travel to Kemah Boardwalk and compete in the Kemah Choir Days Competition! Students will be on a field trip beginning at 2nd period and we will leave during that class period. Students will be given an all-day ride pass if they chose to get one, and are responsible for paying for their own food. We will make a stop on the way, and there are also plenty of food choices at the park depending on how much they wish to spend.

The Choir will sing at 11:24am and we will leave the park around 4:00pm. Students will need to bring their Renaissance dresses with them, and will wear their choir t-shirt around the park after performing. Students may wear shorts that are school appropriate. This field trip does not count against exemptions.

For students who made the region choirs and were selected for Honor Choir, Region Weekend is November 15-16! It will be hosted at Lake Creek HS on Friday and Saturday. There will be a bus provided to and from rehearsals on Friday, and ONLY provided to Lake Creek on Saturday. All students must be picked up from Lake Creek following the concerts on Saturday evening. It will be a weekend full of singing and fun!

Students will be dismissed from classes on Friday at 1:00pm and will miss 6th and 7th period. We will make a stop on the way, and there will also concessions to purchase at Lake Creek HS. Rehearsals will end at 8:30pm, and arrival back at TMHS will be around 9:30m.

Saturday morning students must meet at TMHS at 7:00am to head to Lake Creek HS. Students will need to bring their formal choir uniform, a black binder, water bottle, pencil, and anything else needed for the day. Students will receive a Chick-fil-a box lunch that is covered by TMHS Choir.

• Friday, Nov. 15 at Lake Creek HS - Registration at 3:30pm; Rehearsals from 4-8:30pm

• Saturday, Nov. 16 at Lake Creek HS - Student meeting at 8:30am, followed by rehearsals.

• Concert Times: Honor at 3:30pm, Treble at 4:15pm, & Mixed at 5pm

If you've advanced to the TMEA Pre-Area round, auditions are December 3 at The Woodlands HS! We will take a bus immediately at the end of the school day, and will stop somewhere for food on the way. There will also likely be concessions at TWHS. Congratulations!

Great job to everyone who auditioned for our pop show! We will send out a callback list this week.

Our Thanksgiving Family Feast is coming up on November 21 and all families are welcome! A sign up will be sent out soon to rsvp and sign up for a dish to bring. This is a pot luck style meal and we do ask that everyone that comes brings something to share. We hope to see many of you there!

THE CHOIR FAIR SHARE FEE FOR THE 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR IS $53.75. Payments will be paid through schoolcashonline. This amount will help to cover such items as uniform rental, altering, launder/dry-cleaning, postage for mail-outs, Copies, Folders, Choir T-Shirt, Choir Polo, Choir water thermos, and other necessary items.

Emails will be sent out Monday if you still have not paid your Choir Class Fee.

Please make sure that you are making payments for the Spring Trip if you are traveling with us! The next payment is due November 15th!

Please be aware that students must be academically and attendance eligible to travel on the spring trip.

All schoolcashonline payments will have an additional service charge that does not count toward the payment. For example, the initial deposit is $100, but has a $5 service charge. Also be aware that the initial deposit is non-refundable and monies paid for the rest of the trip cannot be refunded after the December 15th payment, unless you are able to sell your trip for full price.

$100.00 Donation - Navy Supporters will receive four reserved seats to all concerts and slideshow recognition at our concerts.

$250.00 Donation - Wildcatter Supporters will receive four tickets to Pop Show, four reserved seats to all concerts, and slideshow recognition at our concerts.

Section of the Week is back! Each week we select a section in each class that has done an outstanding job throughout the week. At the end of the year, we will add up all of the sections and whoever has won section of the week the most in each class will receive a donut party!
