Dear Parents and Carers,
Staffing Update
As you will have all received communication this week regarding my replacement as Headteacher from September, I wish to reassure you that a smooth transition process is in place as we head towards the last few weeks of the school year.
Mrs Winter, who is based at De Lacy Primary School currently, is keen to be visible to both our pupils and wider community and I will of course support in the facilitation of this. If you see her on the playground in the coming weeks, please feel free to say hello!
I do also have further news regarding staffing to share with you all and that is, Miss Adele Worsnop who has been at Carleton Park for the last 9 years is leaving at the end of the academic year. Adele has been a great member of the team over the years and has certainly contributed enormously to the fantastic improvements we have seen most notably through her coaching and mentoring of others as well as her leadership of our PE curriculum.
Adele will be moving across to Northfield in September and for her, this is a brilliant opportunity for professional development.
Although Adele will be sad to say goodbye to you all, she is excited by the challenge which awaits.
I am sure you will all be joining me in thanking Miss Worsnop for all she has done for Carleton Park during her time here but also wish her well in this next chapter.
Colour Run - 28th June
On Friday of next week we will hold our FIRST EVER, 'Colour Run'!
I am slightly concerned that this event has been arranged on my birthday, however I have had reassurances from the children that as it is my birthday nobody is allowed to throw paint at me or indeed squirt a water pistol at me either.
*If you have not yet signed your child / children up to the event please do so by going to 'clubs' on MCAS, add to basket & checkout (zero cost).
