November Fundraiser
Veteran's Day Thanks-Friday November 8, 2024
We know many Veterans are here at ESS and we would like to honor you!
Veterans- YOU ARE INVITED! Elizabeth Shelton School would like to honor YOU this upcoming Veterans Day.
If you have a family member (or you yourself) that is a Veteran, we would like to have the honor of their (your) attendance at a special event on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 9:30am - 10:30am.
Students and their Veteran will parade through the entire school starting outside by the fourth grade wing and going all the way through to the second grade wing while we give you our thanks!
After that you will be invited down to a classroom to participate in a question and answer session. If you have a favorite book to share, please bring that too
If you have a student in more than one classroom, we will assign you to one classroom only and the other student will join you.
*Due to the size limitations of our school, in compliance with the fire code, the invitation is limited to Veterans only

Old News-
Please remember if you are picking your child up early to let us know ahead of time so that the teacher knows and the students are prepared. If not, it may take some time to locate your child during lunch/recess and they may not be as quick as you need them to be.
if you have a change of custodial arrangements, no changes to IC or dismissal plans may be made without a copy of court documentation.
Please remind your student that if they have a cell phone they should NOT be using it during the school day and if you get a text from them, please call school instead of responding.
The school playground is closed to the public from 8:45-4:00. If you bring younger siblings, they cannot go on until after dismissal. Thank you for your assistance with this.
Please make sure all water bottles, lunchboxes and clothing items are labeled with your child's name. We have a large collection already
Dismissal changes MUST be communicated to the front office even if you send your child's teacher a Dojo message-you must email Mrs Roberto and Mrs Quinlan with the changes-thank you!
Please only send water or juice boxes in with your child-Starbucks, Dunkin, Prime and Monster energy drinks as well as sodas or seltzers should remain at home .
Important reminder that we are nut and peanut free school. We have students with severe allergies. Thank you for helping keep everyone safe!
Have a great weekend--Mrs Weber
