DOD Request to Return School Library Materials
OLIS is offering delivery-on-demand service to facilitate the return of school library materials. Complete the form for a special pick-up and drop off. The service will conclude on Friday, February 26, 2021. .

2021 Rhode Island Mock Newbery Award Winner Announced
On January 14, 2021 children's librarians and school librarians met virtually to vote for the most distinguished children's book of 2020.

Voting for the 2021 RI Children's Book Award
Voting for the 2021 RI Children's Book Award will take place February 1, 2020 - March 15, 2021. For 2021, schools and libraries may decide to collect and tally votes using the Schools and Libraries Form or may instruct students to vote on their own using the Students Form.

What's New on Talking Books Library?

BARD Is Back Online 1/14

BARD is up and running 1/14 12:30 pm The maintenance work included the long-expected move of BARD to a cloud environment. Patrons will experience no functional change to BARD, but users accessing the system via a high-speed Internet connections may notice faster download speeds.

VA Providence Providing COVID19 Vaccinations

The VA Providence Healthcare System began providing COVID-19 vaccinations for Veteran patients yesterday, Jan. 6, 2020. They have a regular supply of vaccine arriving and anticipate this to continue...
