Welcome to Sandia Vista Elementary where we are learning together with Thunder Pride!

Mrs. Beth Northness has returned to SVE this school year and will be serving as the Assistant Principal. Many of you may remember Mrs. Northness when she served as the ELD coordinator for SVE several years ago. If you see Mrs. Northness on campus please welcome her back!

We also have several new staff members joining our team in many grade levels and departments. We are excited they are here and look forward to the amazing opportunities they will be providing our students.

Currently we are seeking candidates for Special Education, Educational Assistants and General Education Teacher. If you are interested please fill out an application. Due to an increase in student enrollment there is a likely chance we will be adding an additional Third Grade teacher in the coming weeks in order to reduce class sizes. Further information will be shared if a teacher is hired.

We eagerly anticipate welcoming our community to campus and invite families to participate and volunteer at our school. Our PTO is always seeking new members, so if you're interested in joining, we encourage you to do so! The PTO plays a crucial role in fundraising and supporting our teachers and classrooms.

You can expect a newsletter from the Office on the first Friday of each month. Please find the links below for additional information, including places to submit pictures and doctor's notes.

Late arrivals must be accompanied by a parent for check-in at the front office. Please do NOT drop off your student before 9:05 AM or after the gates have closed.

We appreciate your courtesy and kindness towards our neighbors. Please do not block their driveways during pick-up or drop-off.

We had a fantastic Popsicle Pop-In and Meet the Teacher! We will see you all on Tuesday!

• Family emergencies may be excused (max of 3 days). No documentation is needed.
• No early Pickups after 3:20pm. We will be posting this outside and at the sign/out station to remind parents.
