Nurse Notes for September...
The school year is off to a great start, but illnesses are already ramping up. Just a friendly reminder, children need to be fever/vomiting/diarrhea free for 24 hours WITHOUT medication prior to returning to school. If they are prescribed antibiotics for strep, pink eye etc. they should be on them for 24 hours and symptoms improving before they return! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
All inhalers, prescribed daily medications/antibiotics, & emergency meds that your child may need must have a signed doctor’s note accompanying the med in order for it to be administered during the school day. These forms are available on the district website, or reach out and one can be sent home with your child.
