Phenomenal Phelps Facts
Week of February 3, 2025
Happy February! Take a look at all that is going on at Phelps this week. Enjoy the week.
Exciting News!
Phelps Elementary School was one of the top three schools in MA who participated in the Anton's and Jordan's Furniture Coats for Kids and Families Coat Drive! As a result, we will be receiving $1500.00 from Jordan's Furniture towards recess and active play equipment for our school. Thank you for participating in this event. Not only did we help others in our community get a warm winter coat, we helped our school win funds for active play!
Good morning! We have a large number of unreturned library books. Notices of missing books went home with students last week. Please remember to send back library books to school weekly. Pro tip: keep school library books in student backpacks so that you always know where they are! Thank you in advance!

We encourage all families to set reading goals and log completed books/chapters on our raffle tickets from January 6-February 14. These raffle tickets have also been sent home. Check out the photos of our raffle winners so far throughout this newsletter.
Also, from now until February break, all students will complete their Mid-Year i-READY diagnostic in Reading & Math. As classes complete these assessments, scores will be sent home. We look forward to celebrating the growth and hard work of your children.
