Mark your calendar for Monday, December 9 for an evening of celebration. In addition to our annual band Christmas concert, our 2nd and 3rd grade students will be presenting a musical performance as well.

The Eden Chamber of Commerce will be presenting their annual Christmas at the Park at the Burnes Pavilion on December 5. Our kindergarten--third grade students will be singing at 6:30. Be sure to come out and enjoy their performance.

High school students who did not pass their STAAR tests last Spring, will be retaking them in December. Testing dates will be:

December 4---English I EOC

December 6--English II EOC/Biology EOC

December 11--Algebra I EOC

Practice has begun for elementary and junior high students who would like to compete in the UIL Academic Tournaments. Any students (2-8 grade) who are interested, may still sign up with their teacher or with Mrs. Sperry.

The UIL competition for 2nd-4th grade students will be on Wednesday, December 4 at Menard.

The UIL competition for 5th-8th grade students will be on Wednesday, December 11 at Panther Creek.

The Band Boosters will have their next meeting on Monday, December 2 at 6:00 in the band hall. All band parents are invited to attend.

The six weeks ended Friday, November 22. . Progress reports will be posted on Tuesday, December 3.

The Water/Soil Conservation Agency will be hosting their annual poster contest for 4th and 5th grade students. They ill be on campus on Tuesday, December 3 to introduce students to the contest.

Elementary Christmas parties will be on Friday, December 20 at 3:30. The school will provide all of the party refreshments. Teachers will be sending out more information about class parties soon.

This year, junior high and high school students will also have class Christmas parties on Friday, December 20 at 3:30. The school will be providing refreshments for their parties. Students and teachers will plan the activities for parties.

Students will be dismissed on Friday, December 20 at 4:20 for the Christmas break. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 7.
