6th Grade Science Field Trip
SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity- LOOKING for chaperones
Trip to MoSAC on Wednesday, February 12, 2025
All Arcade 6th Graders are invited to attend this science field trip during school hours.
MoSAC, the SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity, hosts exhibits that address global and local issues on topics relating to energy, health, water, nature, space, and design engineering. The state-of-the-art planetarium theater screens a variety of spectacular star shows and feature films.
We depart Arcade Middle School at 9:30 AM and we will return at 1:30 PM.
MoSAC
Arcade 6th Grade students will take a school bus to the MoSAC.

Sack lunches will be provided to all students, but there is a snack bar on site, should you want to send your student with spending money.

WHAT TO BRING
6th Grade Spartans need to bring:
- Refillable water bottle
- Sack lunch (a sack school lunch will be provided, but you may bring your own should you wish)
- Wear comfortable shoes and clothing
- All their curiosity!!!
LEAVE AT HOME
- Toys, slime, gum, or items that may get lost
CHAPERONES NEEDED
If you would like to be considered for a chaperone role, please complete the following:
- Complete volunteer form
- Get fingerprinted (make an appointment here)
- Fill out this interest form
If you are selected to be a chaperone for the 2/12 field trip, a member of the 6th Grade Team will notify you using the email you've provided in the interest form.
