Week of October 28
Week of October 28th
Message from Principal Wadkins
This four-day week marks the end of the first quarter. We have Flex periods both on Wednesday and Thursday to support your student to make up or finish up work for the quarter. This half way mark in the semester is a good time for students to reflect on their learning so far and to plan for success for the second quarter. Remember that only semester grades are recorded on a student’s transcript and are used to determine grade point average (GPA). Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you have trouble accessing ParentVue which gives you the ability to see your student’s attendance and grades.
Thursday is Halloween and the student store is sponsoring a costume contest at lunch. While it can be fun to dress up for this holiday, students must not wear costumes that obscure their faces, portray negative stereotypes or violate the PPS dress code policy. I look forward to being one of the judges on Thursday! Finally, Friday is our last football game of the regular season where we play Lincoln HS at their field. Go Warriors!
