DR. MARTIN'S MESSAGE
The iReady test results are in, and the teachers and I have met with the iReady coordinator. The results are outstanding! Typical growth between the diagnostic test and the midyear test is 50%, but our reading score increased by an impressive 83%, while our math score rose by 53%. The coordinator mentioned that our reading improvement scores were the highest she has ever seen. We are right on track with our math scores as well.
Last week, I asked the teachers to complete letters of intent to assess staffing needs for the next school year. I’m pleased to share that all teachers have confirmed their return to Cardinal Pacelli next year.
A Cardinal Pacelli 4th grader, Vincent Miller was recognized by his community in Norwood, Ohio on Friday, February 27th as a recipient of a “Gem of the Community” award. Vincent designs the inflatable and animatronic holiday displays. People come from all around Cincinnati to see his Halloween and Christmas displays.

HELP KEEP OUR FISH FRY UP AND RUNNING
We need your help!
It's Fish Fry Season! Tara Veith, our favorite Crazy Fish Fry Lady, is running these events for the LAST time this year. We are so grateful for all the work she has put in over these past years, and she needs your help to transition this event seamlessly into next year.
Consider signing up to "captain" an area of the Fish Fry. Tara will give you all the support you need to learn the ropes, and she will be at each event overseeing the processes. This is a great way to get involved in our parish community.

Huge thanks and congratulations to volunteers and chairs, Beth Knollman and Jessica Crane, for organizing and supporting over 55 young actors. Special thanks to Miss Kuch for her musical guidance and tech support, alongside Emilie Rouse. We can’t wait to see what next year brings!
