The 2024-2025 Free and Reduced-Priced Meal Application is now available. Children need healthy meals to learn and thrive. Lawrence Public Schools offers nutritious breakfasts and lunches every school day, including local foods from partner farms and ranches. Eligible families can receive school meals at no cost or at a reduced cost by completing the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application online. Submit the Consent for Disclosure Form (available at all schools) to also qualify for student fee waivers. When school families apply for school meal benefits, they also support maximum funding for our classrooms!

Project SEARCH Business Liaisons Honored: On July 22, the USD 497 Board of Education honored our Project SEARCH business liaisons, Ken Sarber with LMH Health and Angie Loving with the University of Kansas HR, with 2024 outstanding Citizen Awards. We are incredibly grateful to have Ken and Angie as part of our Project SEARCH team! Thank you for all that you do for our interns and program as a whole.
