Week of March 24-28
Hello Barrett Families!
In our World of Wonders curriculum, students are on Unit 6 - Transportation. Attached are some great ideas regarding how you can engage your child with what they are learning about in school! Our focus letters are Kk, Uu, Gg, Ww. Students will be learning about different types of transportation! For Character Strong, students are focusing on Cooperation for the month of March! Please talk to your child about what it means to cooperate with one another!
Don't forget to fill out your chocolate order forms! We will be taking orders through March 24th. Delivery will be just in time for Easter!!
We have Parent Teacher Conferences coming up on April 10th and 11th. Sign-up sheets are going home with your child on Monday and are due back on Friday.
Please check your child's backpack daily! There are many backpacks that have not been checked for months. There are important papers, projects, etc. that are inside of your child's folder that need to be emptied daily. Thank you!
IMPORTANT FROM THE NURSE:
If your child needs pain/fever medication in the morning, he/she cannot attend school that day! Your child must be fever free/diarrhea free for a minimum of 24 hours without medication! This is school/district policy and will not be compromised. We want to ensure that we keep our staff and students healthy. Thank you for your cooperation.
