Dean of Students Update
We are back to using Edficiency for signing up for ELT locations. This should be familiar to students who were at WHS last year. Freshman and new students to WHS, please ask for help if you need it. Students please make sure to use this link for signing up to request ELT teachers: https://whs.edf.school/
Ms. Pirkel sent out an email this week to students with instructions to help with the transition back to Edficiency. Please make sure to review this helpful information.
Speaking of emails, parents please encourage your students to check their school email daily. Lots of important information is sent to students using the school email system. This is also the quickest way to find out and clear up any mistakes with attendance or a missed ELT location before a referral is written. An email to both student and parent, will always be sent before a referral is made. Students have 48 hours from when the email is sent to have a parent/guardian or teacher clear up an error.
Lots of great stuff is happening at WHS, with amazing students and staff and I am very excited to experience my first WHS homecoming week coming up! GO GOSLINGS!

UW Direct Admit
Current Senior Students/Parents
Direct Admit Seniors! You have received your direct admit offers, now what?
- Students should complete the Direct Admit form via the UW Admissions Pathway Portal as soon as possible. Create an account (use your personal email) and follow the steps. The form must be submitted no later than May 1, 2025. After May 1, 2025 the direct admit offer(s) will expire and the student will need to complete a traditional admission application.
- View the next steps checklist
- Reminder: Completion of the Direct Admit Form is not a formal commitment to attend a UW. This form connects students with the UW university of universities they are interested in attending and will allow universities to communicate critical and important next steps to students.
- Students who need help with account creation or completion of the Direct Admit form may contact the Go Wisconsin team for assistance.
- Students, please reach out to Student Services if you have any questions or concerns.
