Happy Spring Everyone!

As April and some beautiful weather is arriving, here are three great local outings/events that I wanted to highlight for your family's consideration and enjoyment (please find the fliers below in the newsletter): These events are all FREE!

1) Saturday, April 5 (9am-3 pm) at the Stanislaus County Office of Education for ages preschool through 6th grade - Maker Hoopla:

This is a great opportunity to participate in a maker space, where they can create some cool projects with a range of building materials. These creative spaces are a great way to stretch your kid's creativity, collaboration and critical thinking skills while having a great time.

2) Friday, April 11 (7:30 pm) at the Mary Stuart Rogers Learning Center (this is on the West Campus of Modesto Junior College, next to our Charter School College Campus):

I hope you will join me for an evening of fun and engaging demonstrations and learning in science. This evening is a great way to remind our kids that science can be fun and interesting!

3) Tuesday, April 15 (9 am) Let's Go on a (Virtual) AgVenture!

Let's hear it for our amazing AG families and community! Here is a great way to learn a bit more about Cattle Auctions from the lens of our teenage tour guide, Grayson as she talks about cattle and auctioneering. 30 minutes. Click on the AG flier below to register in advance.

For those using the online AWR format, the online version is not open for direct editing. To use this resource, please save a copy to a Google account or a device. The saved copy will then be editable. You can save a copy to your Google Drive by clicking FILE then MAKE A COPY. You can save a copy to your device by clicking FILE then DOWNLOAD - Microsoft Excel.

We highly suggest adding your student's name to the file name when saving. Please contact your Advisory Teacher with any questions. NOTE: Clicking "Request Edit Access" will not make a copy for yourself and the request will be denied - granting access would open access to the original file and everyone would see your edits.

The Spring Festival drawing is back! Purchase tickets in the Ed Center beginning April 7 for a chance to win from a variety of exciting prizes!

Mountain Mike's coupon books and a limited number of HRCS t-shirts are still available for purchase in the Ed Center! Cash or check only, please.

We are excited to bring back The Pie Company's pie fundraiser!

All pies arrive frozen and are 10 inches in diameter. Once received, please freeze or bake immediately. They can last for up to one year in the freezer. Pies should be baked from frozen and all baking directions can be found on the bag.

Pies must be picked up in the Ed Center on Thursday, April 17, between 9 AM and 12 Noon. Pies will not be available for pickup on Friday, April 18, as school will be closed for the Holiday and can not be stored.
