We're looking for a family or two to team up and provide a meal for our Sunday night gatherings. This is a great opportunity to serve together and bless our group of 50 youth! If you're able to help, please use the link below to sign up.
We have found that 10 pizza, salad, fruit, and dessert is a great meal for our group. Casseroles fulling two full size steam pans, a pan of veggies, and dessert is a great meal. Simple nacho bar of taco meet, cheese, lettuce, salsa, sour cream and ice cream sandwiches is always appreciated.
Pumpkin Unloads Sunday Sept 29th and Oct 13th
This year, our Pumpkin Unload days are set for Sept 29 and Oct 13, from noon to 3pm, and we need all hands on deck! We're unloading over 2,500 pumpkins and need volunteers of all ages to help with this huge project. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and bring work gloves. If you have a wagon or cordless blower, it would be a big help for unloading and cleanup. For those staying after church to lend a hand, we’ll provide pizza and salad. Let's make this year’s Pumpkin Patch a success together!
Pumpkin sales shifts
We're asking each youth family to sign up for at least two sales shifts, with each shift being just two hours long. This year marks over 30 years of pumpkin sales on John Wesley's front lawn, and we’re excited to reach a major milestone—surpassing $1,000,000 in total sales! All proceeds go directly to the Youth Mission Fund, supporting mission work in our community and around the world. Your help is vital to making this year a success. Please volunteer and be part of this incredible tradition!
Youth Costume Party
The Youth Leadership Team is excited to host a Youth Costume Party on Sunday, October 27th, from 5-7pm, and we’re aiming to make it an unforgettable night! We’re calling on adult volunteers who can help take this event to the next level. Whether it's with decorations, games, or treats, your support would be greatly appreciated. Trunk or Treat
We need YOU to decorate your trunk and hand out candy at John Wesley’s Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, October 30th, from 6-7pm in the church parking lot! It’s a fun and festive way to connect with our community, and we need your help to make it a success.
Get creative with your decorations, bring some candy, and let's make this a spooktacular evening for the kids!
Youth are asked to arrive at 5pm to cook hotdogs and make lemonade for everyone attending the event.

Charleston Wesley Foundation
Would your family be willing to put together snack bags for local college students? The Charleston Wesley Foundation, a Methodist ministry serving students at The Citadel, CofC, CSU, MUSC, and Trident Tech, provides weekly worship and small group opportunities. They’d love to give snack bags to the 60 students they connect with each week. If your family is interested in supporting this effort, please contact David at jwyouth@gmail.com for more information.
