November News
Cook Hill Families!
Thank you for a fantastic and memorable October! We are grateful for all the fun and impactful moments we shared and are thrilled to be in an exciting November filled with meaningful events and learning.
A huge thank you for making our Scoopy's event such a success! The Kickball game was another highlight. Our families involvement truly made it special. We loved celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with our students throughout September and October, and now, as we honor Native American Heritage Month in November, we are exploring and celebrating the diversity of Native American cultures with our students.
We were so excited to welcome and honor our veterans at our ceremony on November 8th. We are so proud of our students for their participation and respect for this important day.
Morning announcements have become a special part of my day, as I get to share the spotlight with students who are eager to join in. Coming up, we’re thrilled to welcome the Quinnipiac women’s volleyball team on November 18th; they’ll be visiting classrooms to read and engage in activities with students. Next week, students will also have a chance to visit with residents from Masonicare, reading and participating in activities together. We’re grateful for these community connections and the ways they enrich our school community.
Thank you to all our families and staff for making our October conferences so meaningful. Your partnership makes such a difference in our students’ success.
Looking ahead, our K Kids program will have its first meeting next week! We invite you to join our virtual PTO meeting on Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
Lastly, let’s all celebrate World Kindness Day on Wednesday, November 13th! Students and staff can wear light blue to show their commitment to kindness.
Thank you, Cook Hill families, for everything you do. We’re excited for all the learning, growth, and community-building this month brings, and we’re grateful for your support every step of the way.

Student Celebrations and Happenings
As part of our continued efforts to celebrate and recognize our amazing students, families, and staff we would like to invite families to complete our Student Celebrations and Happenings form!
The form will be open throughout the entire school year. Anytime your family or child celebrate or do something interesting, add a new submission!
Not only will we celebrate our school community together during our Morning Announcements, but each week (with the families permission) we will share one of the submissions with our entire school community!
We cannot wait to see what our students, staff, and families are up to when they are being the change they want to see in the world and living their best lives!
