Students and parents will receive their report cards on 11/19 during the school day. Parents will have access to their student's grades in Home Access on or by 11/19. If you need to have your password reset for Home Access please contact our school secretaries and they can assist you by resetting your password or email mountpleasanths@bsd.k12.de.us .

We will be hosting a National Demonstation of our AVID Program on January 30th 2025. Our theme is "Focused on Our Future", Focused Note Taking a guided path to content knowledge. Our AVID Ambassadors will demonstrate for our visitors how our AVID Schoolwide programming supports student learning. Stay tuned for more information on our showcase.

We had 6 total students submit stellar recordings for their audition, but there was some incredibly stiff competition, with over 5000 students trying to claim one of the spots in the 5 National Choirs.

10th grader Alexandra Korn was accepted into the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) National Choir. Alex will be participating in the 8th-10th grade National Honor Choir in Dallas, TX in March of 2025.

Delaware will have a total of 6 students representing our state across 3 of the 5 National Choirs, and we are the only PUBLIC school district with students attending. In addition to Alex, there is one other representative from BSD attending, Alice Hanson of Claymont Elementary who will be singing in the 5th-7th grade National Choir. Join us in congratulating our BSD students for their accomplishment.

Reminder each teacher records the attendance to each class based on the student reporting to their class. If a student is going to be absent a parent or doctor's note must be provided to the attendance secretary, Mrs. Maya Grier. We cannot accept a note or message from a student as verification of their absence.
